The day everything changed for me


It's a NEW DAY, Reader!

Years ago, my son struggled with chronic joint pain and digestive chaos (to put it kindly).

We spent seven long years looking for answers.

Doctors.

Tests.

Medications.

And then more of the same.

We crossed countries and we crossed oceans looking for help.

Everyone meant well and gave their best 'standard of care' recommendations, but no one could explain why he he was in pain and no one could fix it.

As a parent, it broke my heart to see him suffering.

I felt like I had exhausted all the options... how was it, after all this, we still had NO answers?

When we finally turned to our focus food, it wasn’t because someone guided us there—it was because nothing else had worked.

It felt like a desperate, last-ditch effort.

So we pared down his diet, removing anything that might be remotely triggering.

We meticulously tracked everything.

Every meal.

Every snack.

Every trip to the bathroom.

Every instance of pain.

I checked in with him numerous times a day, asking him how he was feeling, hoping we would start to see improvement, or at least some patterns that we could make sense of.

Three weeks into changing his diet, a switch was flipped.

I still remember that day, and the realization at our bedtime check-in...

No pain. All day long. For the first time in a VERY LONG TIME.

That was the turning point. The moment I realized something I now believe with my whole heart: there is hope for healing for everyone, and what you eat truly matters. Not in a trendy, restrictive way—but in the deep, foundational way that lets the body finally do what it’s been trying to do all along - heal and re-balance.

It is this HOPE that continues to drive me every day.

This is why my work focuses on helping clients understand their patterns—what supports them, what keeps them inflamed, and how their body communicates through symptoms. Together, we build habits that last, simplify food choices, identify hidden triggers, and create nutrition and lifestyle strategies that actually fits their life and physiology.
