How I help my clients go from surviving to THRIVING!

Reader, you were made for wellness!

I know that may seem hard to believe, especially if you're experiencing health challenges and have spent too much time and energy searching for answers and real, personal support that will truly help you regain your health instead of just managing symptoms. I can assure you, though, there is hope for your health and healing!

The human body was created with dozens - maybe even hundreds - of self-healing mechanisms and pathways! But they need the right tools and building blocks (nutrition) along with the right conditions (lifestyle) to work the way they're designed to. When our diet and our daily routines get out of balance, inflammation and stress can increase and our bodies get focused on surviving - while thriving takes a seat in the way back.

There's no shortage of information out there (much of it conflicting), programs, diets, supplements, and DIY guides promising to solve your constipation, mid-life weight gain, hormonal chaos, migraines, or whatever else you might be struggling with. And it's nearly impossible to know which ones are just hype and which ones might actually work!

That's where my Wellness for Life process comes in!

During one-on-one online coaching sessions, I walk with my clients through three phases that will help them understand what their unique body needs, restore balance, and build sustainable nutrition and wellness habits. These phases build on each other, and the tools and insight my clients gain as their body responds to the care and nourishment they provide can continue to be used well into the future and shared with others. That's why I call it Wellness for Life!

Here are some details about each of these phases, their main purposes, and some of the things we focus on:

Discovery & Awareness

Getting curious about what your body is trying to tell you

In this phase, we look at where you’ve been and what your day-to-day looks like now, so we can start connecting the dots.

  • A full review of your health history, symptoms, routines, and nutrition patterns
  • Food journaling and symptom tracking to help you understand your body’s cues
  • Mindful eating and simple body-awareness practices
  • Identifying patterns, triggers, and root contributors to symptoms
  • An elimination or structured observation period when needed

This phase helps us know where to start—and gives you a deeper sense of connection to your body.

Balance & Build

Supporting your body's own healing pathways

Here, we begin restoring nourishment and creating rhythms that help you feel more balanced and energized.

  • Fine-tuning your meals and macronutrient balance
  • Supporting digestion, metabolism, hormones, and gut health
  • Gradual food reintroductions guided by how your body responds
  • Adding targeted supplements when helpful
  • Building sustainable eating routines and lifestyle habits

As your body settles into balance, you often feel improvements in energy, digestion, mental function, sleep, and overall well-being.

Refine & Thrive

Establishing natural and lasting routines and strategies

This is where everything comes together and becomes part of your everyday life.

  • Personalizing your long-term nutrition strategy
  • Optimizing sleep, energy, mood, and resilience
  • Learning to navigate stress, travel, and full schedules with confidence
  • Establishing ongoing habits that keep you thriving and feeling your best
  • Creating a plan for long-term maintenance and future goals

The focus here is confidence—knowing how to support your wellness no matter what life brings.

Because I work with my clients online, I am able to serve people across the United States and around the world.* We usually meet once every 2 weeks and every strategy is personalized, evaluated, and adjusted as necessary as we go. In addition to nutrition and food choices, we address things like stress, sleep, movement, and other lifestyle factors that impact overall health. In between sessions, I offer unlimited email and messaging support so no one is left hanging with any question or roadblock that might come up.

My training in holistic nutrition has provided me with tools and insight to support both adults and children with a wide variety of health concerns including:

  • autoimmune conditions
  • blood sugar & metabolism
  • chronic pain
  • digestive distress, constipation, and diarrhea
  • recurring illness or infection
  • unwanted weight gain or loss
  • mental health and mood
  • food sensitivities and intolerances
  • low energy and fatigue
  • brain fog
  • headaches and migraines

You might wonder how it's possible for me to help people with such diverse concerns. The reason is that even though we have different body systems (digestive system, nervous system, immune system, etc.) - THEY'RE ALL CONNECTED! Each system is impacted by what is going on in all the other systems. They all depend on nutrients and the right conditions to work optimally on their own and together. Your symptoms give clues about where to start, but supporting your body, mind, and spirit with real nutrition and targeted lifestyle strategies is the key to creating real and lasting wellness.

Though my clients often begin seeing significant shifts within the first month or so, my Wellness for Life package includes 8 sessions that we use over the course of 4-5 months. This helps reduce overwhelm that easily comes from trying to do too much too fast. It also gives ample opportunity for learning and observation, evaluation and adjustment of strategies, and helping my clients find an ease of rhythm as they integrate these strategies into their everyday life so they can continue to thrive long after we're done working together!

My Wellness for Life process fosters clarity, balance, and a body and mind that is more resilient and at ease. If you’re ready to start thriving with a gentler, clearer, more personalized and holistic approach to your health without confusion and complicated protocols...

It's a NEW DAY, Reader! Recently I attended the funeral of an elderly gentleman in our church. At the time of his passing, he was just shy of celebrating 45 years of sobriety. Anyone who struggles with an addiction likely has some powerful thoughts that come up hearing about this. Powerfully positive thoughts like: If he can do it, so can I! Yes! I'm on my way to that goal, too! Or maybe they're powerfully negative thoughts like: No way, I could never be that strong. How can anyone possibly...

It's a NEW DAY, Reader! Years ago, my son struggled with chronic joint pain and digestive chaos (to put it kindly). We spent seven long years looking for answers. Doctors. Tests. Medications. And then more of the same. We crossed countries and we crossed oceans looking for help. Everyone meant well and gave their best 'standard of care' recommendations, but no one could explain why he he was in pain and no one could fix it. As a parent, it broke my heart to see him suffering. I felt like I...

It's a NEW DAY, Reader! You may have noticed I've been talking a lot about digestion lately. As a practitioner who sees people as WHOLE, not just organs, systems, and symptoms, I think about digestion quite differently than many other health professionals We have medical specialists who focus only on the digestive system - gastroenterologists - and some of them even get more specialized and focus on just one area of that system. When we need a surgeon, these are the people we want holding the...
